A literal translation from the ksl. I miss you all today and was pleased to see so many blog comments. . . A present unto itself. Christmas here consists of a short two hour mass and a big lunch. Elise dont read any further. Today i witnessed a goat slaughter and it made the chicken look easy. I considered pleading on behalf of the goat because it clearly and vocally knew its fate right up until the end. Nasty stuff mostly because there are no sharp knives here. A massai man did it in such a way that he got to keep the hide in one big piece for himself. I an now very full and looking forward to some calls from america!

    i’m the other Elise (Mom). Can’t figure out how to switch the name to “Mom” when replying. I’m glad you had a happy jesus party. When I told grandma about the goat, she was jealous that you were eating goat – she likes it (as well as Joyce Ann), so no “eaks” from them.

    I met Mark’s father the other day at the pharmacy. I’m curious as to who your friends are who reply to your blog. I feel as if I should get to know them since we;re all chatting together. Uncle Carmen talks about you on his blog.
