Tuition and Financial Aid Information
1998 / 1999
(1999 - 2000 info will be posted when it is released)
Dear Parents and Prospective Students of Jesuit High School:
The Jesuit Order
has been involved in the education of youth for more than 450 years (Our school's history...). It is our goal to help each
student mature spiritually, intellectually, morally, socially, and physically. We do
not take our responsibility lightly. We appreciate your confidence in Jesuit High
School.
The Board of
Trustees and the Administration have approved the budget for 1998-1999. Attentive
consideration is given to all departmental requests, the needs of our faculty and staff,
and the maintenance and development of our 41 acre campus.
The tuition for the
1998-1999 year amounts to $5,280. Student Body Fees are $320. Freshmen and
transfer students also pay a one-time fee of $25 to cover the registration process.
Tuition
assistance is available. Jesuit High School would like all students who are
accepted to have the opportunity of a Jesuit education regardless of economic
circumstances. Yet, the proceeds from our scholarship endowment fund are limited,
due to various economic factors.
This year, the
Financial Aid Committee provided assistance for more than 140 students. Each case is
reviewed in strictest confidence, and the assistance is given based on the need
demonstrated by each family. With the funds available to us, we will make every
effort to be as helpful as possible.
Applications for
tuition assistance are available. These forms may be picked up in person, or
requested by telephone from Mrs. Gail Mraovich, Secretary for Student Accounts. The
deadline for filing Tuition Assistance Forms and all supporting materials is Monday, May
4, 1998. Applications received after May 4th can only be considered if there
are extra funds available.
Again, thank you
for considering Jesuit High School. We look forward to sharing in the education of
your son.
Sincerely, |
Fr. Edwin B. Harris, S.J. |
